Coventry Blaze have completed the quota of overseas forwards for next season by bringing in Derek Campbell and re-signing fellow Canadian Danny Stewart.
They join Adam Calder, Dan Carlson, Greg Chambers and Luke Fulghum in coach Paul Thompson’s six-strong allocation.
Campbell, a winger from Ontario, has previously played in England for Newcastle and Manchester.
Stewart, 30, is back for a fourth season with Blaze, having previously hit 67 goals in 216 appearances.
Stewart was part of the Coventry team which won back-to-back titles in 2007 and 2008.
Thompson has confirmed that Campbell’s signing means that he will not offer new contracts to Carlyle Lewis, Sylvain Deschatelets or Erik Hjalmarsson.
